Day 1 - At the Spa

Buenos Noche! Welcome to Tijuana. Arrived in San Diego and was picked up by a man named Jesus. A good thing knowing Jesus was taking me across the border to the place of healing. First we had to pass through security with all my medication... I could feel the irony as my first experience being a mule for the big pharma cartel, smuggling drugs across he border. (BTW CBD oil is illegal in Mexico)

Mixed with a combination of trepidation and excitement we made our way to the "SPA", which is called Hope4Cancer if you want to look them up. I call it a spa to keep it positive, besides its not far off the definition. I will be totally immersed in a whole body healing experience. Healing my mind, body and spirit. It's one of the reasons I chose this place.

I settled into my new living quarters that will become my home for the next 3 weeks. Filled out lot of forms, so its not much different than US doctors, except I also had to fill them out in Spanish. I also got an EKG and basic vitals taken. I would have posted some pictures, but I am not allow to take pictures of my support team.

I have a big day tomorrow as I will be doing a series of tests to determine my course of treatment which will be tailored for my specific needs. It will also serve as my baseline to monitor my improvements and to adjust my treatment each week. Maybe tomorrow I will have some time to check out the beach just across the street.

Good night. Thank you for all the love and prayers. Love you all!

Final Goodbye

Don't think of it as a goodbye, more like a see you later. This post is written by Jim's daughter Tyra. As many of you know my Dad...

A New Hope

It was quite the journey getting home. Was supposed to be home Friday evening, but didn’t actually get in until Saturday afternoon....
